Our History
Two long established insurance brokerage firms operate under the umbrella of the LWS Group, with over 40 years of experience in the insurance consulting field.
During the mid 60’s the Lothar W. Schenk GmbH & Co. KG was founded in North-Rhein Westphalia. As one of the first independent insurance brokerages, we have been advising executives and their organizations from all segments of the economy since our founding. As forerunners in our industry, we have been offering our clients a comprehensive blueprint and in-depth analysis of their risk exposure and subsequent coverage since the very beginning.
As our client base has successively grown over the years, the LWS
Industrie-Assekuranz GmbH was founded in 1994 to meet the growing needs of our business clientele. In close partnership with the Lothar W. Schenk GmbH & Co. KG we service mid-sized companies across Germany in all industry sectors from our Munich office.
We are able to provide our clients with extensive know-how acquired over a 40-year period in the insurance consulting field. Our clients reap the benefits from our well-established and close relationships with leading insurance companies in the German as well as the global marketplace.
